LinkWater, a new water infrastructure company formed by the Queensland Government in 2006 to manage the existing and long term potable water requirements of South East Queensland, awarded McConnnell Dowell, in joint venture, the Southern Regional Water Pipeline Project (SRWP). The Company is pleased to advise that the American Samoa Government has awarded McConnell Dowell (American Samoa) the Fagasa Seawall Project. The scope of work is for the repair of the shore protection, road pavement and drainage which were severely damaged during Cyclone Heta. The shore protection works comprise 3,100 lin-feet of of inter-locking 1-ton concrete 'tribar' units. We are pleased to announce that McConnell Dowell Philippines Inc has been awarded the contract for civil works associated with the refurbishment of the Ambuklao and Binga Hydropower plants.
