McConnell Dowell and Bombardier Transportation Joint Venture are the design, construct and delivery partner of the GoldLinQ consortium, currently constructing stage one of Queensland's first contemporary light rail system. In 2014 this exciting light rail system will come alive for the Gold Coast. The new fly through depicts the integration of new system into the urban environment and how passengers will interact with the light rail. The Singapore Parallel Train saw more work for McConnell Dowell on Jurong Island, Singapore and fantastic results continued to raise the reputation of McConnell Dowell. An extensive 5 kilometres of pipe racks were implemented to provide the critical infrastructure that connects the existing facility to the new expansion. The Company is pleased to announce we have secured rail safety accreditation in Victoria. We are now a fully accredited Rolling Stock Operator and are able to run our newly purchased rail plant on all railways across the state to do construction and maintenance work.
