The Singapore Parallel Train saw more work for McConnell Dowell on Jurong Island, Singapore and fantastic results continued to raise the reputation of McConnell Dowell. An extensive 5 kilometres of pipe racks were implemented to provide the critical infrastructure that connects the existing facility to the new expansion. The South Australian Department of Transport, Energy and Infrastructure (DTEI) awarded McConnell Dowell the design and construction contract for the Glenelg Tram Overpass project in Adelaide, South Australia. The works include the design and construction of a grade separation for the Glenelg tramline over the very busy South Road in Adelaide. The Company is pleased to announce we have secured rail safety accreditation in Victoria. We are now a fully accredited Rolling Stock Operator and are able to run our newly purchased rail plant on all railways across the state to do construction and maintenance work.
