The Company is pleased to advise that the American Samoa Government has awarded McConnell Dowell (American Samoa) the Fagasa Seawall Project. The scope of work is for the repair of the shore protection, road pavement and drainage which were severely damaged during Cyclone Heta. The shore protection works comprise 3,100 lin-feet of of inter-locking 1-ton concrete 'tribar' units. The Company is pleased to advise that the AdelaideAqua consortium, which includes McConnell Dowell, has been named by South Australian Premier Mike Rann as the preferred bidder for construction of Adelaide’s new 50-gigalitre desalination plant to be built at Port Stanvac. The AdelaideAqua consortium companies comprise Australian-based McConnell Dowell, Spanish firm Acciona Agua, Abigroup and United Utilities.
