The Company is pleased to advise that PT McConnell Dowell Indonesia (MDI) has been awarded the construction of a gold processing plant by PT Tambang Tondano Nusajaya at their Toka Tinding mine site in North Sulawesi. The project includes earthworks, civil, structural, tanks, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation and commissioning of the plant. A joint venture between McConnell Dowell and Built Environs has received a prestigious Civil Contractors Federation (CCF) South Australian Earth Award for its work on the Techport Australia Common User Facility (CUF) on the Port River at Osborne, South Australia. We are now a fully accredited Rolling Stock Operator and are able to run our newly purchased rail plant on all railways across the state to do construction and maintenance work. Breakwater Road is an essential crossing of the Barwon River, carrying around 20,000 vehicles each day. The existing bridge is in a flood plain and when it rains heavily it has to be closed down, forcing traffic through the centre of Geelong and causing delays for drivers. The Chatree North Gold Project is an expansion of the existing Chatree Gold Mine in Pichit Province, approximately 4 hours North of Bangkok. The expansion will increase the mine’s capacity by 2.7 million tonnes per annum to a total capacity 5 million tonnes per annum.
