Now we need a Safety Advisor who can help us keep the streak going.  Based at our city fringe new Melbourne office, you'll take on significant responsibilities that will provide support and guidance to ensure the safety of the Mechanical Business Unit's employees Australia wide.

You will be responsible for providing assistance in implementing and managing Business Unit safety management programs, you'll ensure employee training and awareness through educated advice, investigation and corrective actions. Focussed on cultivating a strong safety culture, you'll robustly ensure adherence to all OHS guidelines and policies and accurately report on the health and safety matters.

You'll need to have some HS&E experience, coupled with an Engineering degree or other certified studies in OH&S/H&E. You'll be ready learn new techniques and be flexible to travel around Australia and overseas to various projects.  The durations of these trips will generally be of one to three weeks duration every 3 months.

It is anticipated that the applicant will come from a safety oriented background and will ideally be trained in aspects of quality management.
