The Company is pleased to advise that Electrix has been awarded a contract by Western Power for its Asset Inspection Services.

The contract scope will include asset inspection services across 50% of Western Power's electricity network in the South Western corner of Western Australia. The contract period is for an initial two year term with an option for a further one year extension. The mobilisation period for the works has commenced with field works to commence early July.

The contract will see the opening of a new regional office and depot, firmly establishing Electrix in Western Australia.

This contract award comes off the back of a strategic decision by Electrix to establish a Perth presence to be within local proximity to their target customers. This move happened in only January this year and four months later they have realised the award of their first major contract in Western Australia.

Winning this contract in a new state location is further recognition of the market leadership by Electrix in providing high quality asset inspection services to Australian electricity utilities and aligning with the needs of their customers.

A key factor in winning the project was the demonstrable strong team performance and excellent customer relationship Electrix has held with Powercor in providing similar services for their network over more than 12 years. The Western Power personnel were impressed by the commitment to safety, quality and customer relationships demonstrated by our Powercor team during visits last year and all members of that team can be proud of their contribution to this new success.
