The company is pleased to announce the recent achievement by PT McConnell Dowell Indonesia of 250,000 man hours without a Lost Time Injury on the Toka Tindung Gold Mine Processing Facility.
The project is currently well into construction phase with multi disciplined work fronts being undertaken simultaneously with over 650 people including sub contractors working day and night shift to achieve the scheduled Gold Pour Date.
The project has a robust construction philosophy with a dedicated project team to ensure that the MacDow safety systems are executed. The close co-operation with excellent safety communication and practices to the work force between our construction management team superintendents and supervisors has contributed to this LTI free result.
