The Company is pleased to advise that SP AusNet has awarded Electrix Pty Ltd a contract for the provision of Public Lighting Maintenance and Bulk Change Services across their outer eastern and northern suburbs Network. The contract, which also covers all the eastern half of Victoria, is for a three year term.
Under this contract Electrix will provide the following services for the 108,000 public lights:
- Maintenance and repair of street lights reported as faulty or defective by the public and customers;
- Routine patrols to identify and repair defective lights;
- Bulk change programs for cyclical replacement of globes; and
- Replacement of existing lights with energy efficient fittings.
The award of this contract further builds on our five year relationship with SP AusNet.
The contract will be managed from a newly expanded Electrix office in Thomastown and will utilise up to 15 field personnel. The contract provides many challenges to successfully meet tight service response times and manage the material supply logistics across a large geographic area and mix of urban and rural locations.
