SOUTH ROAD UPGRADE PROJECT AWARD

The Company is pleased to advise that Built Environs has been awarded the contract to upgrade a heavily-used 1.5km section of South Road, Old Noarlunga, for the South Australian Department of Transport, Energy and Infrastructure (DTEI).

The Built Environs engineering team will be upgrading two major signalised intersections, involving the movement of around 10,000m3 of earthworks and 22,000t of profiling and asphalt works.

The work will ultimately help with the management of current and future peak traffic volumes to and from Adelaide and the growing southern suburbs region, including Victor Harbour.

Key to Built Environs being awarded the contract was the innovative program and traffic management proposal, which will be critical on this busy and complex section of road.

Work commences immediately with a 6-month duration and the project is a welcome addition to the Built Environs roadworks portfolio.
