SENTOSA BRIDGE PROJECT COMPLETION

The Company is pleased to announce the successful completion of the Sentosa Bridge project in Singapore for Resorts World at Sentosa on time and on budget.

The design and construct project was for a new 380m segmentally launched road bridge to travel to and from Singapore to Sentosa Island.

Key to completing the project in such a short construction period was the maximisation of precast concrete elements and the modularisation of the steel truss bridges at the Company’s Batam fabrication facility.

With such a challenging environment involving limited access for heavy lift barges and strong currents, this project showcased how MacDow’s Creative Construction can overcome all challenges.

The project also achieved over 715,000 man-hours LTI free. This safety result was achieved with a diverse multinational workforce working together safely, and in a dynamic environment.
