The Company is pleased to announce that the Ambuklao and Binga Hydropower Plants Project achieved 2,000,000 man hours LTI free on Friday 5 August.
This significant achievement was achieved during the rehabilitation project that will soon yield 225MW of Hydro Power into the national grid of the Philippines. Ambuklao station is already supplying power to the grid and final pre-commissioning shutdown of Binga station is well underway.
Safety has been a large focus on the project and the McConnell Dowell site team, together with the project engineers ( Norconsult ) and client (SN Aboitiz Power), have worked tirelessly to bring this project home safely.
