The Company is pleased to advise that Hyundai Engineering and Construction Co. Ltd. has awarded McConnell Dowell South East Asia Pte Ltd a sub-contract for the construction of a second underground pedestrian walkway for the new Specialist Shopping Centre Project development at 277 Orchard Road.

The contract requires the design and construction of a 16 m long x 28 m wide underground walkway beneath the 10 m wide Stamford Canal. The works include demolition; civil and structural; and temporary civil works, and will require the development of a false work system to hang the canal prior to the excavation and construction of the underpass.

This award follows the Company’s award of the first underpass at the same building site. We look forward to continuing our strong relationship with Hyundai Engineering and Construction Co. Ltd.

The project commences immediately with completion scheduled for May 2012.
