The Company is pleased to announce that McConnell Dowell (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, together with BAM Malaysia (a subsidiary of the Royal BAM Group of The Netherlands), and the Malaysian contractor See Yong & Son, has been awarded a design and construct contract for a jetty in Malaysia for Vale SA, the world's largest iron ore exporter.
McConnell Dowell has a share of 40% of the contract value. It will take the joint venture 24 months to complete the jetty.
