The Company is pleased to announce that Electrix Pty Ltd has been awarded a contract renewal for provision of construction and maintenance services on the Powercor and CitiPower electricity networks in Melbourne and Western Victoria.
The contract is for an initial period of 3 years with further options to extend.
While this contract was awarded after a competitive tender process, Electrix has successfully provided similar services to Powercor and CitiPower for over 10 years. This previous track record, combined with a strong customer relationship focus and ongoing high standards of safety and quality performance were key factors in winning the contract.
The contract will be managed from the Electrix office in Spotswood and will utilise up to 65 field personnel undertaking overhead line-work, metering and servicing, underground services and a range of specialist technical services.
The successful renewal of this contract confirms Electrix as the single largest electrical contractor within the Powercor / CitiPower network.
