The Company is pleased to advise that McConnell Dowell, in joint venture with Downer EDI, have been confirmed as the preferred tenderer by the New Zealand Transport Agency's (NZTA) for the Christchurch Western Corridor Route Memorial Avenue Intersection upgrade.
The project is to be delivered as an early contractor involvement (ECI) contract and forms part of the Christchurch Western Corridor route, connecting the northern and southern Canterbury areas with Christchurch International Airport. The scope that our joint venture will now design, price and negotiate to award of execution of works is for the Wairakei Road to Yaldhurst Road four lane project, which includes the upgrade of the intersection with Memorial Avenue.
