The Company is pleased to advise that Alstom Power Singapore Pte Ltd has awarded McConnell Dowell South East Asia Pte Ltd the civil contract for phase A of the Keppel Merlimau Cogen II Power Station Project.
The scope of work includes:
- all underground services for the 400MW combined cycle unit;
- civil foundation works for the gas and steam turbine;
- turbine hall;
- Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG);
- feedwater rack;
- approx 20,000 m3 of concrete and 2,000 t of reinforcing steel in the foundations;
- transformer area and miscellaneous structures; and
- building works for the warehouse, electrical control building and GIS Station.
The contract duration is 12 months commencing March 2011.
