The Company is pleased to advise that McConnell Dowell Constructors Ltd has been awarded the contract for the Christchurch Major Sewer Upgrade by the Christchurch City Council.
The contract comprises two separate but connecting sewer lines, Western Interceptor and Fendalton Interceptor.
The Western Interceptor comprises 4 kilometres of 1200mm and 1350mm diameter gravity sewer complete with manholes and requiring services relocation and settlement monitoring. Fendalton comprises approximately 2 kilometres of between 450mm and 1050mm diameter sewer complete with manholes, services relocation, settlement monitoring and a pump station.
The works start immediately with a 16 month duration.
