BOGONG HYDRO ELECTRIC SCHEME INDUSTRY FINALIST

The Company is pleased to advise that the Bogong Hydro Electric Scheme project received a finalist award in the 2010 Australian Constructors Association Awards (ACAA) at the gala dinner recently held in Brisbane and attended by 400 industry leaders.

The Award reflects the development of a culture within the construction industry which strives for world’s best practice and also recognises outstanding construction achievements. The Chair of the 2010 ACAA judging panel, Professor Michael Dureau, said, “All seven finalists have created benchmarks for future projects to emulate, and all project teams understood and were committed to delivering excellent outcomes for the client, stakeholders and the environment.”

David Logan, accepting the finalist certificate at the recent awards dinner, said "This is a wonderful acknowledgement of the hard work and dedication of all stakeholders in this project, while also recognising the support from the Bogong community. Everyone was completely committed to ensuring the project finished on time and was of excellent quality. This recognition is testament to MacDow's drive to deliver creative construction solutions for our clients, while meeting all objectives and outcomes, in a safe working environment."
