Barwon Heads Bridge Wins National CCF Award

26 October 2011

The Company is pleased to advise that the Barwon Heads Bridge project was awarded the Civil Contractors Federation (CCF) Category 4 National Award at the 2011 Awards dinner presented to the team at the Gold Coast on Saturday night.

The project won the award based on the project team’s excellent management of a challenging project which involved significant construction underpinned by extensive stakeholder and community management. The project entailed the building of 300m long road and pedestrian bridges, as well as road and pavement works on each side of the Barwon River, working around pedestrians, public traffic, anglers, and mariners all within a small working corridor.

The award was jointly submitted with our Client, VicRoads and congratulations is extended to all involved on the Barwon Heads Bridge project for this award.
