American Samoa Safety Achievement

Tagged under

In January this year McConnell Dowell (American Samoa) Ltd achieved a rare double of 2,500 days and 1,500,000 man-hours LTI free.

The last LTI in American Samoa was on 1 March, 2003, on the Fitiuta Airport Extension Project, and since that time a sustained effort by all staff and employees - on in excess of 30 projects over a period of close to 7 years - has resulted in the development of an impressive safety culture.

A record such as this cannot be achieved without a huge commitment by everyone and it is a credit to all of our staff and employees who have worked so hard to build such an impressive safety culture.
