Due to continued growth we have a role for a Design Engineer, with
a minimum of 5 years mechanical engineering experience with a contractor, and significant exposure to design, costing, estimating and planning.
You will be self sufficient, requiring minimal supervision with a focus on pragmatic, technically sound, acceptable results.
In addition to providing mechanical engineering design and support associated with workshop and project activities, the focus of the role includes the development of fabrication and assembly methods together with appropriate plant and equipment selections. Further accountabilities include verifying mechanical designs prepared by other engineers, performing scheduling and planning functions for bidding and site activities and assistance with business development initiatives and client liaison as required.
A relevant tertiary qualification - BE Mechanical or equivalent and CPEng are preferred requisites.
